Certi­fi­cates of Compe­tence

Next to the basic termi­no­logy the basic ISO 26262 course will deal with various aspects of the standard as e.g. ASIL, hazard analysis, risk assess­ment, ASIL decom­po­si­tion, a holistic view of functional safety within a life cycle as well as concepts for avoiding and mastering syste­matic and random errors. Group work and presen­ta­tions will help parti­ci­pants gain insights into the concepts behind the develo­p­ment of safety-relevant systems and deepen the requi­re­ments for the release of these systems. Additio­nally, requi­re­ments are presented that have to be considered in the develo­p­ment of hardware and software through to produc­tion in order to obtain complete proof of functional safety.

The parti­ci­pants thus get an overall view of the standard and are able to assess the inter­re­la­ti­onships of safety-related develo­p­ment according to ISO 26262, to carry out hazard analyses correctly and to develop standard-compliant safety concepts and reflect their own workflows in the context of ISO 26262 likewise.

The below listed staff members parti­ci­pated in a several day lasting course in which basic contents were taught through presen­ta­tions and teamwork. In a final written exami­na­tion, proof of compe­tence was provided, which is confirmed by a corre­spon­ding certi­fi­cate.
