Next to the basic terminology the basic ISO 26262 course will deal with various aspects of the standard as e.g. ASIL, hazard analysis, risk assessment, ASIL decomposition, a holistic view of functional safety within a life cycle as well as concepts for avoiding and mastering systematic and random errors. Group work and presentations will help participants gain insights into the concepts behind the development of safety-relevant systems and deepen the requirements for the release of these systems. Additionally, requirements are presented that have to be considered in the development of hardware and software through to production in order to obtain complete proof of functional safety.
The participants thus get an overall view of the standard and are able to assess the interrelationships of safety-related development according to ISO 26262, to carry out hazard analyses correctly and to develop standard-compliant safety concepts and reflect their own workflows in the context of ISO 26262 likewise.
