As part of the “Studium hoch zwei” program, the HTW Berlin offers, among other things, the cooperative study program “Bachelor of Engineering Electrical Engineering” of the Department of Engineering – Energy and Information.

GRABAND – we primarily deal with planning and management as well as development, testing and assessment in technical equipment projects in local and long-distance rail transport – as a cooperation partner offers students of the above-mentioned course the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into our company, to apply the technical knowledge they have acquired in operational practice and to carry out practice-oriented project and bachelor’s theses.

Our Berlin location is home to the “Planning” and “Project Management” departments, which essentially deal with a wide variety of tasks. “Planning” deals with railroad equipment in the fields of command control and signaling, electrical, traction current and telecommunications technology for electronic interlockings and level crossings. Over the years, “Project Management” has established a leading position in the creation of commissioning concepts and construction operations planning for Deutsche Bahn and coordinates infrastructure projects across several fields.
