Valida­tion and Review Services in the Project TCS­-Odometry

For the project TCS-­Odometry extensive valida­tion, review and verifi­ca­tion services of the software had to be performed by GRABAND. Those essen­ti­ally comprised the drawing up, assess­ment and update of valida­tion documents and reports respec­tively, test speci­fi­ca­tions and design of test cases according to PEACC+ and CENELEC as well as the imple­men­ta­tion and evalua­tion. In addition, a document for the device of the system archi­tec­ture speci­fi­ca­tions of the odometry had to be drawn up.

Support Services in the Project Cisalpino ZUB 262ct

Extensive support services had to be performed by GRABAND for the project Cisalpino ZUB (train control system) 262ct. These essen­ti­ally comprised the extension and adapt­a­tion respec­tively of the diagno­stic tool ZUBD, the develo­p­ment of scripts to generate diagno­stic message lists automa­ti­cally as well as the speci­fi­ca­tion and imple­men­ta­tion of software module tests with SimCLI.

Update of the Test Speci­fi­ca­tion RTM5K

Due to several problem reports and the resulting modifi­ca­tions in the requi­re­ments documents a corre­spon­ding software mainten­ance became necessary. For this the update of the test speci­fi­ca­tion RTM5K had to be carried out by GRABAND within the scope of this verifi­ca­tion.

Valida­tion of the Software Component ESF Kern

The software component ESF Kern, contai­ning the system logistics part and fulfil­ling the speci­fi­ca­tion regarding the ESF scenarios, was to be extended by several functions. For that extensive, develo­ping­-accom­panying valida­tion services had to be performed by GRABAND.

Valida­tion and Assess­ment of Software Compon­ents

The required modifi­ca­tions on the basic systems were made on the releases for new CPU assem­blies (ECC) of different computer platforms. Thereby all compon­ents and subsys­tems of the basic systems of the computer platforms had to be considered for the interlo­cking systems. For this extensive valida­tions and assess­ments had to be carried out by GRABAND according to CENELEC EN 50128 and EN 50129 for the ECC basic and ECC subsys­tems as well as for the ECC software compon­ents. In addition, corre­spon­ding test certi­fi­cates, a system test strategy plan as well as a system test speci­fi­ca­tion had to be drawn up.
